Donating items to those less fortunate
During the holiday season there are many members who enjoy crocheting and donating items to those less fortunate. If you do not have a local charity, you might consider donating clothing, blankets and toys to the Cozy Cuddles for Kids charity. This organization helps needy children from newborns to adult-sized teens.
Grant A Wish will distribute donations to the children. The mission of this Chicago-based group is to uplift a child's consciousness by providing something he or she needs or wants.
You can send you donations to Cozy Cuddles for Kids, Attn. K. Quinn, 1939 Waukegan Rd., Suite LL2, Glenview, IL 60025. Donations outside of Illinois may be sent to K. Quinn/Cozy Cuddles, c/o Grant A Wish, 400 N. Wells, Suite 412, Chicago, IL 60610.
