We have all probably heard a daffynition but may not have known that's what they were called. A daffynition is any twisted and humorous definition of an English word. Although many daffynitions are just horrible puns, some are clever epigrams.
Example Adult: A person who has stopped growing at both ends and is now growing in the middle.
There are also related puns, called sniglets that many associate with daffynitions. If Daffynitions are humorous definitions of words than Sniglets are words that don't appear in the dictionary, but should.
Example AQUADEXTROUS (ak wa deks' trus) adj. Possessing the ability to turn the bathtub faucet on and off with your toes.
