June is Vision Research Month. Continued research is needed to combat the growing, worldwide problem of vision loss and vision impairment. Through vision research, more is being learned every day about the causes of diseases that underlie visual impairment and blindness, new treatments for eye diseases, and what you can do to help prevent vision loss or slow down its progression.
